Terms of Service

Last updated: April 9, 2026

Welcome to Velora Hub. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Velora Hub platform, including our website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

01Account Registration & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will maintain its accuracy.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Velora Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

02Subscription Plans & Billing

Velora Hub offers multiple subscription tiers: Wanderer ($2.99/month), Voyager ($6.99/month), Navigator ($12.99/month), Concierge, and Elite. Each tier provides different levels of access to features as described on our Membership page.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection) and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Applicable taxes may be added at checkout based on your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

Early access members who received complimentary access are subject to the terms communicated at the time of their enrollment. After the complimentary period expires, the subscription will transition to the applicable early access rate.

03Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid tier's features through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.

For full details on our refund policy, please review our Refund Policy.

04Acceptable Use

When using Velora Hub, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service unless expressly authorized
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization

05User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all content you create within Velora Hub, including trip plans, journal entries, photos, notes, and packing lists (“User Content”).

By using the Service, you grant Velora Hub a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your User Content for advertising purposes.

You may export or delete your data at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion, your User Content will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

06Referral Program

Velora Hub offers a referral program through which users can invite others to join the platform. Referring users may earn rewards such as extended access, feature upgrades, or ambassador recognition as described within the app.

Referral rewards are subject to change and may be modified or discontinued at any time with reasonable notice. Abuse of the referral program (including creating fake accounts, self-referrals, or incentivizing signups through misleading means) will result in forfeiture of rewards and potential account suspension.

07Intellectual Property

The Velora Hub name, logo, design elements, and all proprietary technology are owned by Velora Hub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our branding or technology without express written permission.

08Third-Party Services

Velora Hub may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as mapping providers, payment processors, or travel APIs). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

08aGoogle Maps Platform Usage

Velora Hub uses the Google Maps Platform — including the Maps JavaScript API, Places API (New), and Places Autocomplete — to provide map display, place search, place discovery, and location-linking features. By using these features, you are also bound by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Place linking model: Velora Hub uses a “link-once, display-always” architecture. When you link an itinerary item, booking, or wishlist entry to a Google Maps place, the following data is obtained from Google's Places API and stored in our database at the moment of linking:

  • Google Place ID — a stable, unique identifier for the place. Google's Terms of Service explicitly permit indefinite storage of Place IDs.
  • Geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) — stored at link time and used exclusively for rendering pins on a Google Map within the Velora Hub application. These coordinates are not used for any purpose outside of Google Maps display, in accordance with Google Maps Platform Terms of Service Section 3.2.3(a) (pre-fetching and caching for the purpose of improving display performance of Google Maps content).
  • Place name at time of linking — stored as a user-facing label alongside the Place ID.

Data we do NOT persistently store: Google-provided photos, star ratings, review text, review counts, opening hours, phone numbers, or editorial summaries. These are fetched in real time from Google via the Place ID when you open a place detail view and are displayed temporarily without being written to our database.

No repeated API calls for stored data: Because coordinates and Place IDs are captured at link time, Velora Hub does not make additional Google API calls to resolve coordinates when rendering map pins. This minimizes API usage and ensures consistent map display even when offline or when API quotas are exhausted.

Data sent to Google: When you search for places (via text search or autocomplete), your search query text is sent to Google's servers. When you view place details for a saved entry, the Place ID is sent to retrieve current information. Google may collect and process this data according to their Privacy Policy.

Google Maps display: All geographic coordinates stored by Velora Hub are displayed exclusively on Google Maps within the application. We do not display Google-derived coordinates on non-Google map providers.

Usage limits & costs: Each place detail lookup and search query incurs a cost from Google. Your subscription plan includes a monthly allowance of Google Maps interactions (place lookups, map opens). When you reach your limit, additional interactions are unavailable until the next billing period. You can upgrade your plan for a higher allowance.

Data deletion: When you unlink a place, delete an itinerary item, or delete your account, the associated Place ID and stored coordinates are permanently removed from our database.

08bGoogle Photos Integration

Velora Hub offers an optional integration with Google Photos via the Google Photos Library API. By connecting your Google Photos account, you authorize Velora Hub to:

  • Create photo albums in your Google Photos library for your trips
  • Upload photos you select within Velora Hub to those albums
  • Read and display photos from albums created by Velora Hub
  • Edit album metadata (e.g., rename a trip album) for albums created by Velora Hub

Velora Hub cannot access your existing Google Photos library, albums, or media items not created through Velora Hub. The integration is limited to app-created content only.

You may revoke this access at any time through your Velora Hub account settings or directly from your Google Account permissions page. For full details on what data is collected, stored, and how it is used, see Section 03b of our Privacy Policy.

Velora Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

09Limitation of Liability

Velora Hub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velora Hub's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the state where Velora Hub is headquartered.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis. Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted under these Terms.

11Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify you via email or through an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12Customer Support & AI Disclosure

Velora Hub provides customer support primarily through an AI-powered assistant. This assistant is designed to handle the majority of support inquiries, including account questions, billing inquiries, feature guidance, and general help.

Transparency: When you interact with our support chat, you are communicating with an artificial intelligence system, not a human representative. The AI assistant is trained on our policies, features, and common support scenarios.

Human escalation: If the AI assistant cannot resolve your issue, or if you prefer to speak with a human, you may request escalation at any time. You can do so through the escalation form on the Support page or via our Contact form. Our team will respond within 2 business days.

You always have the right to request human review for matters involving billing disputes, refund requests, account access issues, data privacy rights, or any legally sensitive concern.

13Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out via our in-app support chat or our contact form.
